Solitaire Rules

• At the beginning of the game, four cards of different ranks and suits are dealt in varying positions on the tableau.

• Place one card at a time from the stock on the tableau, in order to arrange a square, so that in every row and in every column:

  • each rank appears only once;

  • each suit appears only once.

• The game is won if the layout is completed in 12 moves.

Scoring

• The game starts at: 0.

• 160 points are awarded when the layout is complete.

• 5 points are deducted for each move.

• The highest score obtainable is 100.
