(Two-Deck game type; 2 decks (104 cards); no redeal)
Game time: Long
Difficulty level: Medium
Skill level: Moderate
Chance of winning: High (about 1 in 3)

Object of the game: To move all the cards to the foundations.

Solitaire Rules

  • The base card (the first card dealt) for this game will vary.

Foundations

(8 piles: complete these piles to win the game)

  • Build up regardless of suit (for example, a 5 can be played on a 4) from the base card to the rank just below the base card until each pile contains 13 cards.

  • Ranking of cards is continuous: build Ace after King when necessary.

  • None of the other seven foundation may be started until the first foundation. The other may then be built simultaneously.

Tableau

(12 piles in 3 rows of 4 cards each)

  • Build down regardless of suit (for example, a 5 can be played on a 6).

  • Ranking of cards is continuous: build King after Ace when necessary.

  • The top card of each pile is available for play to another tableau pile or to the foundations.

  • Only one card at a time can be moved.

  • Spaces may be filled from the waste or the stock (never from the tableau or reserve).

Reserve

(1 pile of 13 cards between the top 2 foundations)

Stock

  • Turn up one card at a time from the stock to the waste by clicking.

  • There is no redeal.

Waste
