"Ace" foundations
up in
suit from Ace to King (for example, a 2
can be played only on an Ace ).

down in
suit from King to Ace (for example, a Queen
can be played only on a King ).

foundation must be a different
suit.

can be played only when the two Aces are on the foundations, and so on
with the 3’s, 4’s, etc.
