• Build up or down regardless of suit (for example, a 10 can be played either on a 9 or on a Jack).

• You can build a card only on another card adjacent horizontally or vertically (top to bottom or side to side).

• Move one card at a time to any adjacent space.

• Only the card immediately adjacent to the foundation can move on it.

• The game is won if all 4 suites from Ace to King are moved to the foundation.
