Windows Vista, Windows 7 - Delay Before Sound Plays
If you are a Windows Vista or Windows 7 user and you are experiencing a delay before sound plays or sound skipping, this is not a SolSuite issue, but could be a Sound Card drivers / configuration problem.
You can try to solve the problem enabling "Use DirectSound" in SolSuite doing the following:
1. Run SolSuite,
2. Click on "Tools" on the toolbar,
3. Choose "Options", then
in the left pane, "click Sounds",
4. Check "Use DirectSound" checkbox.
Or, if the problem persists after
having enabled the DirectSound, try the following:
1. Click Start - Control Panel - Sound,
2. Right click on the Speaker/Headphones icon and choose properties,
3. Click on the "enhancements" tab,
4. Select the "Disable all enhancements" check box,
5. When finished, restart the PC.
